Condo FAQ
This page covers many of the questions we receive regarding our 1 bedroom condo in Dakota Lodge at Keystone Resort. If you have further questions, don’t hesitate to contact us at riverrunfun@jatee.com.
How and where do I checkin?
Checkin is available starting at 3:00pm. The front desk is located in the Buffalo Lodge. Buffalo Lodge is adjacent to Dercum Square which is just south (towards the mountain) of the free parking lot next to the Village. The front desk is open 24 hours/day. The phone number is 970-496-3390 or you can reach them from the condo by dialing 0.
Is there covered parking available?
Yes, when you checkin you’ll be given a parking pass and directions to the underground parking. Your room key will open the garage door.
Is there a TV/DVD player available in the condo?
Yes, there are 2 TVs and 2 DVD/VCR combo players. One is in the bedroom and the other is in the living room.
Who do I call if I have a problem with the condo?
First, call the front desk. They should be able to assist you with 95% of any problem you might have. If you find that they aren’t helpful, please give us a call and let us know.
Is there a ski locker?
Yes, there is a private ski locker located on the main floor next to the lobby. The key for the ski locker is hanging in the condo next to the entrance.
What floor is the unit on?
Our unit is located on the 4th floor of Dakota Lodge looking towards the west/southwest.
Are there towels at the hot tub?
Yes, towels are located next to the water fountain and bathrooms on the main floor off of the lobby. There are also towels outside next to the large hot tub in the small pool hut.
Are there any laundry facilities available?
Yes, there is a guest laundry right down the hall from our unit on the 4th floor.
Where should I rent skis/snowboards?
Keystone offers very reasonable and convenient ski/snowboard rentals in two locations. The closest to our condo is near the gondola. Ask the front desk for details. You can also get more info here.
Do you have access to discount tickets?
As owners, we no longer have access to discount tickets for our guests. Local grocery stores used to offer discount tickets, but they have also curtailed many of the better deals. The best option is to prepurchase lift tickets directly from Keystone. Click here for more info.
How close is it to other ski resorts?
There are 3 other ski resorts within a 30 minute drive. The closest is A-Basin. It is 10 minutes up the road from Keystone and can be reached via a bus that leaves from Dercum Square. The next closest is Breckenridge. It is a 25 minute drive. Ask the front desk about bus service to Breckenridge. The 3rd is Copper Mountain. It is also within 30 minutes.
A little further but well worth the trip is Vail and Beaver Creek. Vail is the 2nd largest ski resort in North America and undoubtedly the best in all of Colorado. If you are an intermediate or expert skier, try to take a day and visit. You won’t be disappointed.
